GORL
- Moss connects hearts and cultivates the future -
Through the quiet yet powerful presence of nature known as moss, we hope to bring joy and awareness to people's hearts, and contribute to the creation of a sustainable, spiritually rich society.
Moss art is an endeavor to discover beauty buried in the everyday, like the scenery encountered on a journey. Based on our experience of coming into contact with nature and culture both in Japan and overseas, we propose a lifestyle filled with sensitivity and gratitude, cherishing the "preciousness of small lives" and "richness beneath our feet" that moss teaches us.
We also express the "spirit of hospitality" that Japan is proud of around the world through the dissemination of moss art, education, and exhibition activities, and continue to ask ourselves, "What is the true essence of service?" True hospitality is putting yourself in someone else's shoes and connecting with them. We will continue to maintain this attitude and expand the circle of trust with all those involved.
We believe that the small act of cultivating, protecting and sharing moss will create a beneficial cycle for society as a whole, and our mission as an association is to serve as a bridge that connects nature, people and society.

The Japan Moss Art Association, a general incorporated association with its headquarters in Kitaibaraki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and operated by offices and branches both in Japan and overseas, is primarily active in planning moss art exhibitions in Japan and overseas, greening art using moss art, and spatial design. It also spreads the appeal of moss art through moss art classes, providing opportunities for anyone to access moss art throughout Japan and around the world, and promoting the spread of moss art.
The association exhibited for the first time at the National Art Center, Tokyo's "21st Century Art Borderless Exhibition: Kagaribi" held in November 2021, where it won both the Grand Grand Prix Award and the Senator Kitamura Award, attracting attention from both Japan and abroad as a leading association in the current moss art boom.
*Our association uses moss purchased from authorized dealers and moss collected from approved forests.
